Just came across this news that ledger wallets bought through a specific reseller, ig the reseller is called Crypto Billis, got compromised. Can anyone tell me what exactly has happened?
Based on what I’ve read there are 2 possibilities:-
1) The reseller sent seedphrase backup cards with seedphrases already written on them but this sounds weak, because somebody would have surely pointed this out earlier.
2) They attached something to the device (an additional hardware ig) but even in this case, it should have been indicated in ledger’s companion app.
Did any of these 2 happen or something completely different?
P.S.- 2026 surely made up to be the worst Bear market
