iFX EXPO Asia 2026 has kicked off its main exhibition and conference programme today (Thursday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together professionals from across the global online trading, fintech and digital asset industries.

The event, which began yesterday with a Welcome Party, is expected to attract more than 5,000 attendees from over 130 countries, alongside 150 exhibitors and more than 120 speakers.

Over the next two days, brokers, liquidity providers, payment companies, technology vendors and cryptocurrency businesses will gather to discuss the latest developments shaping the financial services industry, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

The conference programme spans two stages, the Speaker Hall and Mastery Hub, with discussions covering artificial intelligence, stablecoins, tokenisation, prediction markets, trading infrastructure and opportunities for expansion across Asia.

Physical Merchandise Builds Brands

How does merchandise featuring the logos of well-known football clubs or other sports teams help brokers build their brands?

“They build curiosity among people,” said Eric Xiao, Head of Sales (Asia) at CMC Markets, following the broker’s front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Everton.

FP Markets’ Global Event Manager, Bruno Moraes, also agreed on the potential of such deals, saying that these brand partnerships are “much more about experience.”
