This is encouraging and concerning at the same time.

The encouraging news is we are seeing all chains thinking deeply about how to navigate the transition to ensure they survive capable quantum computing.

There is clearly enough potential risk that everyone is trying to prepare for. You can’t just wait and flip a switch- people recognize they need to get ahead of it.

The concerning news is we are still spinning on what solutions to build and implement. The quantum race is only accelerating, and they aren’t pausing while systems spin on planning.

We are already at a point where in the next couple years, we have to hope people still feel things are secure and that the proposed solutions will deliver in time, and will keep chains running securely without too much disruption or impact.

I’ve been following this “narrative” for years. Except it isn’t a contrived narrative. We are seeing it play out in real time where everyone is trying to take action.

Rather than worry about how it will play out for existing chains trying to upgrade, it’s time to consider the market opportunity.

We are already seeing where EVERY SINGLE COMPANY- not just crypto- is looking for solutions to migrate cryptography. And GOVERNMENTS across the board.

That’s a huge undertaking, and time is running out. These companies will be looking for solutions that have been establishing themselves over the years.
