Just FYI – I think I’m the original HODL guy. Here’s what happened…

I had some… mysterious sudden illness while I was using BTC-E. IF I told you what happened to me you would probably think I’m a little crazy. But it happened to me. And I was very sick then.

So I was on the BTC-E squawk box, telling people to make staking part of ethereum from day 1, etc. Just spitting out my ideas for a two layer system, etc. Then I got suddenly ill.

I tried to type HOLD HOLD HOLD, but I kept typing HODL HODL.

I must have made the same type about 30 times… over 3 hours.

I’m pretty sure the BitcoinTalk user posted HODL AFTER he read my BTC-E messages.

I think it’s hilarious that it’s a meme now. I’m sorry. I was super sick at that time, in a random genetic mutation through a wall… type of way…

I wish I was making this up. =)

Please don’t beat the shit out of me. I’m just a broken man trying to provide some information. =)

I asked somebody with a copy of the BTC-E squawk box logs to find my messages. The dude never contacted me back to confirm. But I know that the people with the logs can search them. =)
