We all talk about decentralization and escaping the banking system, but let’s be honest: the whole crypto market actually runs on stablecoins (USDT/USDC).

If you think about it, did we really build a revolution, or did we just give the US dollar a brand new 24/7 digital highway?

Look at what’s happening:

Instead of using Crypto as cash, everyone just parks their money in digital dollars. We never left the fiat system. Stablecoin issuers use billions of our money to buy US Treasury bonds. Basically, crypto adoption is helping fund the US government’s debt. In countries with high inflation, people use digital dollars, not local money. The US didn’t even have to force it; the market did it for them.

Did crypto fail its original mission by becoming completely dependent on the dollar, or is there any way out? What do you think?
