Yesterday at a White House meeting with crypto executives, President Trump specifically mentioned Hyperliquid:
“I understand that Mike [Selig, CFTC Chair] is also working to bring Hyperliquid into the United States in a fully compliant and legal fashion. Working very hard on that.”
This is one of the clearest signals yet that the administration wants to pull major offshore perp infrastructure onshore.
Immediate market reaction:
$HYPE jumped double digits (reports of 11–19% moves) Related vehicles (Hyperliquid Strategies / PURR and some HYPE ETFs) also surged hard Traditional exchanges (CME, Cboe etc.) saw pressureHyperliquid has been the dominant decentralized perpetual futures platform but has blocked US users. A compliant US path would be a massive narrative shift.

What do you think — real regulatory path opening up, or just talk for now? How are you positioning around this?
