Equiti has renewed and expanded its sponsorship of Abu Dhabi football club Al Wahda FC for the 2026/27 season. The deal moves Equiti’s branding from the club’s sleeve to the front of its home, away and goalkeeper shirts, alongside Abu Dhabi developer Lead Development.
Equiti first partnered with Al Wahda in 2024 as a sleeve sponsor. In 2025, it also became the naming partner of Dubai’s Youth Football League.
Equiti Expands Al Wahda Stadium Branding
The renewal follows Al Wahda’s fourth ADIB Cup title in the 2025/26 season. The club reported 70.1 million viewers across 760 hours of television coverage and 194.5 million in cumulative social media reach during the season.
The sponsorship covers the ADNOC Pro League, UAE President’s Cup, ADIB Cup, QAT–UAE Challenge Cup and Pro League U23 competition.
Equiti will also receive pitch-side LED advertising, stadium branding and visibility across the club’s digital and retail channels. Its branding will appear exclusively on Al Wahda’s training kits for the first team and academy.

Equiti Group CMO Chantelle Johnson said the expanded agreement reflected the company’s continued involvement with the Abu Dhabi community.
“This is a club with real history in Abu Dhabi. Expanding our role here is about showing up for that community,” Johnson said.
Equiti Challenge Returns for Third Edition
The Equiti Challenge corporate tournament will also return for a third edition. The second edition, held in February 2026, included eight institutional teams from organisations including Abu Dhabi Police, the Judicial Department and the Ministry of Justice.
Commenting on the expanded deal, Al Wahda Chairman of the Board of Directors Fares Maktoum Al Mazrouei said: “This partnership with Equiti is an extension of a long and fruitful relationship.”
