Your recovery phrase should only ever exist in two places, on your device screen during setup, and on paper you physically control. Never a website, never an app text box, never pre printed in the box a wallet shipped in.

If a device arrives with a seed phrase already filled in, it is already compromised, so buy only from the official manufacturer.
