crypto newb here. i’m not trying to be sarcastic.

bitcoin has been around for years, but i still can not wrap my head around its value as a currency.

there is the trading aspect, some have made millions and some have lost millions. but outside the trading sphere, what value does it have? how long is it actually going to be around?

and what about all the shitcoins? are they NFTs all over again?

the best i can understand it, is that it is like kohl’s cash, only traded in one venue.

what am i missing?
