I was deep into NFTs since the 2021 bull run, be it gaming, utility, PFPs, pretty much everything.

at one point, my portfolio went from almost nothing to over $100k unrealized, only to end up worth around $10k today (Yea, I know. I hate myself…..should’ve taken profits)

lately, I’ve noticed a lot of hype shifting toward physical collectibles. It existed before, but now it’s on fire. All my social feeds (X/IG/TT) are flooded with kids and adults ripping packs or flexing their graded and raw collections

Platforms like Courtyard, Beezie, Collector Crypt, and a dozen others launching every now and then to join the cycle to enable trading these collectible cards digitally. (Frankly one of the positive usecases of blockchain and I love to see web2 crowd joining in)

Anyway! Coming back to the point, this period reminds me a lot of the excitement around NFTs in 2021 to 2023 when everyone and their grandma made money (except me)

So I’m curious

Will physical collectible cards be short-lived and go bust just like NFTs? Or is the hype worth a long-term investment and one should consider getting in

I want to jump into the ship but cautious this time around

Interested to hear from collectors and investors here….
