With the (physical) Palau Digital ID in hand, can someone ELI5 how I sign up for a KYC overseas exchange from the US?

Specifically: Should I use a vpn? Do I just give my home address here in the U.S.? My Email and phone number seem easy, as those can be from anywhere in the world.

It’s the connection and physical address that I’m wondering about. Any advice you have would be helpful. I’ve had the ID for a bit now and haven’t tried it for fear of “poisoning the well”, so to speak. And even with excellent alternatives like Hyperliquid and 1Inch out there, it would be nice to be able to exercise a little more freedom.
