So this might be a stupid question but in not very experienced with crypto. In 2021 i tried it once via Binance and lost like 5K… (inexperienced, did stupid stuff in retrospective) after that i stopped, and ignored crypto for a few years. Now i just came back to it, and was wondering this: in 2021 i bought a coin called “Theta” back then that coin was very hyped (top 10 overall) and reached almost 15$. Because i was dumb i bought near ATH and lost money. Now in 2026 “Theta” is at 15 Cents?!?!?! Does this mean that if i shorted “Theta” back in 2021 with 5K and held it until today i would be 100x (500k) ? Or does it not work like that. Sorry if the question is stupid.
