I’ve been spending some time looking at how cross-chain swaps are handled across different networks, and the experience still feels pretty fragmented. A lot of platforms seem to work well on a single chain, but once you try to move value across ecosystems, things get inconsistent or unnecessarily complex.
Bitcoin stands out as a particularly tricky case. Without relying on centralized on-ramps, moving value from native BTC into more broadly supported environments isn’t always straightforward, especially when interacting with EVM-based chains. It’s interesting how this remains a challenge despite all the progress in cross-chain infrastructure.
Curious how others think about this problem and what approaches make sense today.
