I have been trying to understand what people see as practical alternatives to Tornado Cash today. Since it was shut down, it feels like there is no clear replacement that offers a similar level of on chain privacy without introducing new tradeoffs or risks.

I have seen Railgun mentioned fairly often, but I have also heard reports of funds that interacted with it later causing issues when sent to centralized exchanges. That makes me wonder how usable these tools really are in real world situations, especially if you ever need to move funds back onto an exchange.

Because of this, I am curious what people currently consider the most realistic options for privacy focused transactions. I am mainly interested in general discussion around privacy tools, their limitations, and how they are viewed by the broader ecosystem.

Would appreciate hearing different perspectives or experiences from others who have looked into this.
