As the thread states; I would like to finally get into cryptocurrency this year.

I don’t expect a get rich quick result, and if I take a loss then so be it. However, I would like ideally to invest in a coin that’s relatively proven and can at least hold its value. If it takes 5 years to double, then so be it.

So yeah was just hoping on suggestions on what cryptocurrency you see as a solid choice in 2026?

Bitcoin is way above my budget, and I have been following Ethereum from around the time it was £300. It seems like the solid second choice to Bitcoin imo.
