Hey there, I need some explainations on futures trading.

I opened a long with a 100x leverage. As i understood, i am supposed to be gaining/losing at 100x my amount. But for some reasons, i got liquidated at 60%, which means at a loss of 0.6% of the initial value of the currency. So why didn’t it go down to 1% before the liquidation? Did i miss something? Is the plateform taking a cut in this or is it totally normal? (For context yes i am 100% new in futures, just decided to try it as i got a bonus on it)
