Spent most of last cycle (my first cycle) using Reddit to learn about crypto. I started here because I liked and used Reddit.

It’s useful to understand the basics about crypto: BTC, ETH, concepts like tokenomics and smart contracts etc.

But the crypto community on Twitter and Farcaster is way bigger, way more experienced and much faster to trends.

I don’t like Elon Musk, I hate how Twitter slips right wing politics into my feed consistently. I don’t particularly like Farcaster’s founder Dan Romero either.

But I’ve made way more money this cycle using those platforms instead of Reddit. Facts are facts.

If you’re buying BTC and ETH and wanna chat about it casually, Reddit works. But if you’re moving down the risk curve, don’t get your alpha from here.

My old bags of Reddit darlings like DOT, ALGO, ADA and LRC can attest to it.
