I’m trying to find out which person-to-person platform works best for trading Bitcoin safely.

I’ve tried a few sites before, but results were mixed, some took a long time to release coins, others had unclear fees or sketchy users. I’d really like to hear which platforms people here actually trust for smooth and secure trades.
