Monday 4 August, 2025 UK’s Top Wellness Search Trends Revealed in The Bigvits Wellbeing Report 2025

As wet and windy weather disrupts the UK’s summer, new data reveals that Brits are turning away from beach-body diets and toward long-term health habits – like better sleep, calmer digestion, and stress relief.

The inaugural Bigvits Wellbeing Report 2025 analyses millions of Google searches across the UK and highlights a surge in practical, foundational health interests – from blackout blinds and probiotics to collagen and creatine.

Key findings:

Cardiff is the UK’s most tired city, with 12.8% of its population searching for sleep help — followed by Belfast (6.6%), Glasgow (5.7%), Bristol (5.6%), and Leeds (4.9%).

Sleep support is surging, with a 900% year-on-year increase in searches for “can’t sleep too hot” and “why does hot weather make me tired.”

Yorkshire leads on muscle health, with creatine and recovery supplements spiking by 900%.

Wales and the West Midlands are gut health hotspots, driven by interest in digestive enzymes, probiotics and microbiome health.

Scotland and London are focused on skin and hormonal health, with collagen and CoQ10 searches soaring.

“This summer, not all Brits are chasing six-packs or quick-fix diets,” says Neha Deol, Nutritional Therapist at Bigvits. “Instead, they’re optimising how they sleep, digest, and manage stress – it’s a much more grounded shift in health culture.”
