Hashed Open Research is a blockchain and digital technology research institute backed by Hashed, a leading venture capital specializing in blockchain technology and digital assets.
Institute aims to play a bridge role between blockchain specialists and the Korean government to provide a constructive dialogue through in-depth seminars and research activities.
According to the new CEO, Korea can potentially be G2 with the US in the digital sector. Mainly because Korea has the world’s highest 5G penetration rate, tech startup culture, and the world’s fourth-largest online game market size.

Yong-beom Kim believes his experience could be helpful for the vision of the global expansion strategy for Hashed.
Yong-beom Kim graduated from Seoul National University and majored in Economics. In 2018, when he was Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Commission, he institutionalized the system related to the virtual asset environment.
From August 2019 to March 2021, while being the First Vice Minister of the Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance, he promoted the maintenance and taxation of cryptocurrency exchanges.
