The second most popular meme coin, Shiba Inu (SHIB) launched ‘SHIB: The Metaverse.’ The developers of Shiba Inu are looking to compete against the metaverse giant Decentraland.

According to Shiba Inu’s official post, the metaverse is focused on sharing virtual spaces that form a perceived virtual reality environment with the goal to create “one of the strongest communities ever gathered in all of crypto’s history.”

The SHIB project will embrace the entire Shiba Inu ecosystem and include $SHIB, $LEASH $BONE tokens after certain phases during the project’s development. The metaverse will feature over 100,000 plots of land, some plots will be public and available for purchase, while others will only be used as common lands or roads.

During the initial phase, only 36,431 plots will be unlocked featuring four different districts: Growth, Defense, Technology, and Currencies. Each district will be divided into four tiers: ‘Silver Fur,’ ‘Gold Tail,’ ‘Platinum Paw’ and ‘Diamond Teeth’ with the prices ranging from 0.2 ETH to 1.0 ETH, depending on the tier.

The SHIB Metaverse has already generated excitement among the ‘Shiba Army.’
