Paytomat Raises 100 BTC In Two Minutes During IEO

blockspoint via

Paytomat, a crypto payment company, completed its exchange offering and attracted the planned 100 bitcoins in just two minutes, ForkLog reports. The first IEO in Eastern Europe was held on the EXMO crypto exchange. The Paytomat tokensale was closed early due to its rapid success, Sergey Zhdanov, the EXMO head, stated.

The Paytomat team managed to sell all 85 million PTI at the price of 0.00000117 BTC for one token. It is also known that prior to the IEO, the company arranged an airdrop of the coins. Apart from the successful tokensale and PTI listing, in 2019 Paytomat plans to launch its own network on the EOS blockchain, based on the loyalty program and crypto voting, as well as update the Paytomat mobile wallet, which will support new tokens and products from Paytomat Labs.

IEO, or initial exchange offering, appeared only last year but is not inferior in popularity to ICO and STO. In March, the South Korean exchange ProBit became the venue for the LINIX's IEO, which lasted only five seconds. It should be noted that exchanges conduct such offerings for themselves, so to say, selecting new promising coins for their listing and promoting these among their users.
