At XTB, a platform failure prevented some clients from modifying or closing CFD positions. The broker said the disruption affected around 0.4% of its 25 million positions and attributed it to a technical limitation in data transfers between its trading engine and its web and mobile platforms.
Separately, OANDA Japan temporarily delayed withdrawals as a precaution following a cyberattack on a third-party hosting provider used by FX traders.
