The appointment follows GTCFX’s recent appointment of Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Ali as General Manager. Al Ali previously worked in the enforcement department of the UAE’s Securities and Commodities Authority, now known as the Capital Market Authority.

In May 2025, GTCFX appointed Mikhail S. as Chief Commercial Officer after more than 13 years at Alpari. The broker also expanded into Thailand, where it opened an office and appointed Mei Nongbua as Country Manager to oversee local operations.

Raffoul Held Senior Roles at Equiti, ADS

Before joining GTCFX, Raffoul most recently served as Head of Compliance at ATFX MENA for one year. He previously spent almost nine years at Equiti as Chief Compliance Officer and Financial Crime Lead.

Raffoul worked at Equiti for eight years and eleven months. Before that, he served as a Director at ADS Securities for two years and three months.

Earlier in his career, he was Head of Compliance at Alpari ME for three years and ten months.

GTCFX Joins Financial Commission for Dispute Resolution

GTCFX also became a member of the Financial Commission in January 2025. The independent, non-governmental organisation provides external dispute resolution for complaints between forex and CFD brokers and their clients.

It reviews complaints and can issue decisions or award compensation under its rules. Its Compensation Fund provides up to €20,000 per eligible client claim if a member fails to comply with a compensation award. It does not cover ordinary trading losses or broker insolvency.
