Imagine explaining crypto to someone who’s never used it.

“Okay, first make sure you’re using the right network. Double-check the wallet address. Don’t lose your recovery phrase. Be careful what you sign. And if you mess up, your money might be gone forever.”

Then we wonder why the average person would rather just use their bank. 😭

Don’t get me wrong. The whole point of crypto is being able to control your own money without relying on a middleman. That’s a pretty powerful idea.

But there’s a difference between giving people financial freedom and expecting everyone to become a cybersecurity expert just to send $100.

We’re making progress with things like transaction previews, spending limits, and better wallet recovery options. Even Ethereum researchers are working on ways to make signed transactions safer.

But I think the industry still has a long way to go.

Here’s what I’m curious about:

If you could fix ONE thing about crypto to make ordinary people actually comfortable using it, what would it be?

And please don’t just say “make the price go up” 😂
