Valbury Asia Futures, an Indonesia-based multi-asset brokerage, has added DXtrade, the trading platform from Devexperts, to its CFD and FX offering. DXtrade is one of two trading platforms that have received approval from Indonesia’s commodity futures regulator, Bappebti, for licensing by commodity futures and derivatives brokers in the country.

What Valbury Clients Get
DXtrade is offered out of the box, with the option of full or partial customization. For traders, the platform includes a trading dashboard and journal, an advanced charting package for technical analysis and multi-currency account views. For brokers, it includes features for managing exposure and configuring dealing settings.
The platform is being rolled out across web and mobile, including a dedicated mobile app. Valbury said it selected DXtrade to support the expansion of its services.
Nino Limantara, Director at Valbury, said clients can now access a platform “complete with a trading dashboard and journal” along with mobile trading.
Charmaine Athaide, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Devexperts, said the software supports “both trader and brokerage.” She said it draws on more than 20 years of development experience and that Devexperts expects to keep working with Valbury as the broker grows.
The Bappebti backdrop
Devexperts said Bappebti approved DXtrade in August 2026 after a review, and that only two platforms hold the regulator’s sign-off. Bappebti sits under Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade. The approval applies to the platform technology rather than to broker licences, so brokers use it when pursuing their own regulatory applications.
Brokers need a Bappebti licence to serve clients from inside Indonesia, and foreign firms have been adding local units. AIMS opened a Jakarta office in May after securing a licence, following Plus500 and Doo Financial into the market.
Crypto, meanwhile, sits with a different regulator, the Financial Services Authority, known as OJK. Devexperts said it plans to apply there next. “We intend to seek approval from OJK in the coming months,” Athaide said in the company’s announcement of the Bappebti approval. DXtrade covers stocks, commodities, futures, options, forex, funds and cryptocurrencies, according to Devexperts.
