The White House had the pen on writing the ‘last offer’ on government officials, including the President, crypto ethics rules. Obviously this has been a huge sticking point over the bill moving forward. While the minority Senators might use this as cover to support the bill, it’s very possible that the provisions are so weak that it doesn’t get enough support to move.
