I’m a noob to crypto. I have a basic understanding but not even close to competent with it.
So I made a purchase online using crypto. I selected to pay with Bitcoin and got a link to their wallet and a BTC amount to send to cover the transaction.
But after entering the amount and transferring it to them, I noticed the total cash amount actually came to very slightly less than the product.
Item cost £73.99 (Bri’ish) But the value of the coin I sent after the transaction showed £73.27
They sent me the amount to pay which at the time was 0.0012728. So is it normal for the end price to fluctuate? I get that coin prices fluctuate so are businesses just happy that the cash they recieve might be slightly less than their listed price?
Just feels weird that I bought a 73.99 item but paid less than that.
