2013 lost about 85% off the top. 2017 lost about 84%. 2021 lost about 77%. Every cycle so far the drawdown got smaller, not bigger, and every single time the “this cycle is different, it’s actually over” period came right before the reclaim, not after it.
2025 topped above $126k and corrected hard into this year, same shape as the last three times. Doesnt guarantee this one ends the same way, four data points isnt proof of anything permanent. But its a real pattern, not a vibe, and worth knowing before assuming this cycle is the one that finally breaks it.
The drawdowns shrinking each round probably isnt random either. More capital treating corrections as entries instead of panic exits changes the depth of the dip over time.
