The research I have done has had super ambiguous results so far. It appears that El Salv might be the easiest country to establish a legal entity in in order to access these exchanges, but it’s still hard to find many first hand accounts or definitive answers as to whether Binance, Bybit, etc will allow a US citizen to trade if they have El Salvador residency.
It might seem insane to consider such a drastic move, but all I can say is … it would be worth it for me to spend some thousands (or ten’s of thousands) in order to access these exchanges legally.
I am not in anyway looking to avoid US taxes, I am just looking to be able to trade on Binance, Bybit, and MEXC, even if it means spending 90 days a year in El Salv (hey, maybe I’ll love it).
I know this sub is mostly for fud and hopium and shit talking, but I’m hoping there’s someone out there who has traversed this path or might have other ideas or experience.
