Chinese man fell from the 30th floor of an Asunción building and died ​Subtitle: Investigators found the man completely naked on the ground and are investigating how his fall occurred. ​Date: August 7, 2026, 03:49 p.m. ​Body: A Chinese citizen lost his life early Friday morning after falling from a luxury building located on Congreso de Colombia streets almost on Santísima Trinidad Avenue, in the Trinidad neighborhood of Asunción. ​The victim was identified as Harry Chun Tak Yeh, of legal age. According to the police report, his body was found around 4:30 a.m., completely naked and lying on the ground. Police officers from the 12th Police Station arrived at the scene following a call to the 911 System and found the body covered with a black plastic bag. ​During the procedure, prosecutor María del Carmen Palazón, together with Criminalistics officers, entered apartment 3001, on the 30th floor, where the victim lived. What they found caught the investigators’ attention: all the doors were open, the apartment was completely ransacked, and there was no one there. ​They then went to the 27th floor, Isadora de Proenca Braganholo Carvalho, where the deceased’s partner, a 29-year-old Brazilian woman, lives. The woman told the investigators that she didn’t know what had happened. ​By order of the Prosecutor’s Office, the body was taken to the Judicial Morgue to fully confirm its identity and perform an autopsy. Meanwhile, the Police and the Public Ministry continue to investigate how the fall occurred and what happened inside the apartment before the tragedy.
