I’ve been trying to explain crypto and blockchain to a friend who knows absolutely nothing about it.

The funny thing is that after years in the space, I realized most people don’t struggle with the technology itself. They struggle with understanding why crypto exists in the first place.

So I’m curious:

If you had only 5 minutes to explain crypto to a complete beginner, what would you focus on?

Bitcoin?

Blockchain?

Self-custody?

The financial aspect?
