From: Arbitrum Developers

Hello! Arbitrum Sepolia is currently experiencing a partial outage.

As a precaution, block production on Arbitrum Sepolia has been temporarily halted while the team investigates. We are investigating a potential root cause related to Nitro software causing a block divergence and are actively working on an infrastructure update to restore block production. No user funds are at risk.

Developer guidance

– Expect transactions and deployments on Arbitrum Sepolia to be delayed until block production resumes.

– If you have time-sensitive testing, please pause or move to an alternative environment until recovery is confirmed.

Infrastructure providers guidance (i.e. you run an Arbitrum node for Arbitrum Sepolia)

– No action required now as the team investigates remediation.

– A new Nitro release will be released later

– all nodes should upgrade to that version. Instructions will be included in a later update.

– If you operate Arbitrum Sepolia infrastructure (validator, RPC, indexer, monitoring), expect stalled chain head and no new blocks until production resumes. Updates will follow as they are available.

Next update

– We’ll keep you posted as we make progress – more to come here.
