Getting a Crypto License in Europe in 2026 feels a lot more structured with MiCA, but also heavier in practice. It’s not impossible, just doesn’t look like something you can set up quickly anymore.

Requirements seem stricter overall – more compliance, higher capital expectations, more paperwork, longer timelines. A couple of people actually recommended Fintech Harbor to me for this – they apparently help with getting a Crypto License and handling the compliance side – but I’m still trying to know how much of the process they really take off your plate.

For those who’ve done it recently: – how long did it actually take from start to approval? – which country did you choose and why? – what was the hardest part – compliance, banking, or regulators? – did you go solo or use a service? – any unexpected costs or delays?

Curious how difficult it actually is in reality.
