It’s getting pretty exhausting trying to hire for this space lately. I’ve interviewed a bunch of people who talk a big game about DeFi and DAOs but then they can’t even explain gas optimization or basic security patterns in Solidity. It feels like everyone is just a developer now because they can fork a repo and change the name. I’m trying to build something that actually needs to be secure and efficient, not just another rug pull or buggy protocol. I need real engineers who can look at a contract and tell me why it’s going to fail before we deploy it because right now I’m just seeing a lot of fluff and not enough substance.
