My partner has a decent amount of crypto from years before we met. I’m not in crypto at all, so I honestly don’t know how any of this works beyond the basics. We’ve been talking a bit more about future stuff lately (moving in, combining some expenses, normal grown up things), and it made me wonder is this something people actually bring up before getting married? Like do you treat old crypto the same way you’d treat any other asset someone had before the relationship or is it more of a your coins are your coins, my money is my money situation? I’m not trying to claim anything that isn’t mine I’m just trying to understand what’s normal in the crypto world since I’m totally outside of it. Do people talk about this or just leave it alone unless it becomes relevant?
