Hey everyone, I just came across something really interesting and wanted to share. Note: I’m not affiliated with this, nor have I bought a single 人生 (Life) memecoin.

You might have seen terms like “苹果人生 (Apple Life)”, “安卓人生 (Android Life)”, or more recently “币安人生 (Binance Life)” floating around. These all started as a meme in China, created by a streamer named Hu Chenfeng, who brutally and binary-classified people into two lifestyles based on the brands and tech they used.

“Apple Life” referred to people living flashy, wealthy lifestyles, driving BMWs, travel around the world, dating multiple girls, and of course using iPhones and MacBooks, the so-called “elite” class.

In contrast, “Android Life” represented a more practical, frugal, or even poverty-stricken lifestyle: using cheaper phones and generally living modestly.

The meme blew up because it highlighted social divides in a humorous, easy-to-digest way, and it went even more viral after the streamer was banned by CCP for supposedly promoting social division.

The meme format then evolved into “{Brand} Life”, which could be applied to anything, including crypto. That’s where “币安人生 (Binance Life)” comes in, poking fun at people obsessed with trading on Binance and living the speculative crypto lifestyle.

It’s a fascinating cultural insight ( at least for me ) and maybe even a small clue into why certain tokens or brands suddenly explode online.

Here are some of the tokens trying to tap into the “{Brand} Life” meme: SOL人生 (SOLANA Life), 波场人生 (TRON Life), …

Thanks for spending a minute of CC Life reading something utterly unimportant.
